Thanksgiving 2014

Crazy how much difference a year can make. Last year, Brady was just 5 months old...not crawling and slept in his bouncer through dinner. This year, he sat in his high chair like a big boy...ate what we ate...and played the whole day with only 1 nap. It was a great day!

Last year...

This year's pics...

Thanksgiving Eve, we just stayed home and relaxed. Brady has been sitting in anything and everything he can fit his little butt into...including these bins from his toy organizer!

Breakfast the morning of Thanksgiving. Note the toy pie on his tray :)

After we all got ready, we decided to take a trip to Meijer. Doug had gone that morning at 6am to buy his PS4 and a couple games...but he decided there was another game he wanted that he didn't pick up yet. Brady was in a really great mood. He kept giggling at everything and flirting with all of the ladies. Young, old, doesn't matter...he's an equal opportunity flirt!

After Meijer, we went back home to get the dogs and packed up to head over to Grandpa's house.
Once we got there, Brady booked it to the TV to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
And look, he's standing IN one of his toys!

He freaking LOVES Elmo...especially this chicken dance Elmo!

I didn't get any dinner pics...but snapped this as he was getting into the chocolate cream pie.
He wasn't sure at first...

But once he realized it tasted delicious, he dug right in!

The next morning, Mom came over so Doug and I could go out on Black Friday and get a few things, including this couch for Brady. We also got him a Lions Mickey Mouse blanket. Doug got a couple other games, a jersey; and I got some tops from Target and Old Navy.

After we arrived back home, we just hung out around the house :)

And Brady jumped in one of his tubs!

Grandpa pushing Brady on his scooter Sunday night!

We're all ready for Christmas! Tree is up. Shopping is done. And presents are wrapped!
3 more weeks of work then 2 full weeks off!

P.S. I'm down 15 lbs. and sorta on diet hiatus until the new year. 15-20 more pounds to go before beginning half marathon training next spring!

Happy Holidays, Everyone!
